5150 Info
Top 5150 Gear In Stock Now
Likes: it's affordable for the beginners who are just getting into snowboarding looking for starter gear, they offer a decent range of colors and styles. Materials made with average quality.I wouldn't recommend for advance riders there likely to break /rip the gear upon big mountain riding depending on abuse they take.
Dislikes: i own a pair of 5150 bindings the highback screws could have a better design, the angle of the footbed is hard to retighten the screws during upkeep maintenance.the color white on their ankle straps redox to a nasty yellow over time.
Qualities: Good selection, Fashionable
Experience: I own 5150 product
Likes: cheap gear, beginners cheap gear......
Dislikes: its cheap.... quality and durability is not so much
Qualities: Popular on the mountain, Good selection
Experience: I am an expert
Likes: Cheap gear, great for beginners who aren't sure if they're right for snowboarding yet. Best feature is their prices, but as they say, you get what you pay for. There's better companies that make better beginner gear. Or look used.
Dislikes: Cheap gear is cheap quality. I honestly believe that renting is better than lacing up this crap. Some of it is really unsafe and bindings breaking is never fun for anyone.
Qualities: Popular on the mountain, Good selection
Experience: I am an expert
Likes: Cheap gear, and when my bindings broke, their warranty program went smoothly.
Dislikes: Not great quality. Probably would want to look elsewhere for beginner gear. Overall, would not recommend.
Qualities: Good warranty program, Good selection
Experience: I own 5150 product
Dislikes: Another brand like Lamar and Morrow that isn't worth wasting your money on. You'll get much better quality gear if you go with a better known brand and buy either used or last season model, even on those other brands low end gear. Save the money and headache and get gear from a reputable brand.

Likes: I had a pair of 5150 bindings on my first board, they worked just fine for the year and a half I had them up until the end, when they broke on me. Decent products, but would not suggest for anyone other than entry level snowboarders.
Qualities: Quality gear, Good selection
Experience: I own 5150 product

Dislikes: not much colors

Likes: They have great entry level stuff, there boards bindings and boots to get real cheap for good quality stuff, I own a pair of boots and they are great boots they are durable and fit really comfortably, overall 5150 does a great job making different products
Qualities: I'd reccomment to a friend, Good selection, Fashionable
Experience: I own 5150 product
Likes: Although many people bash 5150 products, for all you entry level riders do not get discouraged. I was very happy with my 5150 covert board. I've used it for 2 seasons and will probably use it again next season. Its a pretty solid board. Great for someone who knows how to ride fairly well and just wants a durable board to take their riding to the next level for a decent price. Very cool looking as well. I haven't had any problems.
Dislikes: The bindings feel a little cheap. Obviously made of plastic. The night before I went riding for the first time with my new bindings I was afraid they seemed too soft. Like they were going to snap in half, but to my surprise they worked great!

Likes: The pros for this brand are the price, usually something you can get from the House for supercheap . . .
Dislikes: . . . but you will eventully find out that you should have purchased something a bit better and more suited to you after you ride it for a while
Qualities: Good selection
Likes: rented a 5150 board, boots, and bindings for my first season. held off pretty good, but board gets scratched and dinks alot...good beginner board~

Likes: pretty decent and inexpensive for the new snowboarder but...
Dislikes: i find the gear to be on the heavy side and the shoes on the uncomfortable side
Qualities: Quality gear, I'd reccomment to a friend, Popular on the mountain, Good selection, Fashionable
Likes: Products are low cost and a great way for beginners.
Dislikes: Lack of technology in boards. Product quality not as high as other well known brands.
Qualities: I'd reccomment to a friend
Likes: Thermo bindings have good flex and remains forgiving. I would recommend them for beginners not looking to break the bank on entry-level equipment. It still manages to keep versatility and its softness. Solid performance for price.

Likes: good company to start with if you dont feel like paying extra for a well known brand such as burton
Dislikes: pretty simple
Qualities: Popular on the mountain, Good selection

Likes: Cheap! These boards are made for beginners, this is ideally your first board. Once one has a good season or two under their belt, they would surely invest in another brand.
Dislikes: No innovative tech: simple design. Heavy and I'm not a fan of the graphics (but thats not a big deal).
Qualities: Popular on the mountain

Likes: Their bindings are not as good as the competition but they are a good price and good for beginners. The boards are decent. And I don't know much about the boots, but i assume they are decent

Likes: 5150 is pretty much an entry level brand, who's main buyers are people who go shop at stores like dick's sporting goods or whatever general sports store. The quality of their boards are decent, i have been on a few and my buddies all started off with either 5150 or morrow. The only real positive point? This stuff is pretty damn cheap, cheap gear for a cheap price makes sense :D Another like that i would regret to say is that some of their graphics are pretty nice, i know it's a bad reason to like a board/brand even, but some of their boards are pretty nice (regardless of features)
Dislikes: Low end and low tech designs. These boards are heavy, well compared to other brands (burton & Lib tech). Their bindings are also plain pieces of plastic. If you want gear to just get you on the mountain and riding. Well this is it. If you want the latest and greatest gear? Go elsewhere.

Likes: Nice for beginners that dont care what board they have yet.
Dislikes: I tested the flex of these at the store and heard cracking each time I put pressure on the board. I did that to 3 boards and said forget it, get something else.
Qualities: Good selection
Likes: I like their stuff, it's cheap and pretty quality but doesn't have the technology of most of the stuff out on the market today. These boards have regular camber. Many of the popular boards today have reverse camber and such. Their stuff might be good to start off with if your a just beginning your riding career, but that's about it.
