Likes: I've been buying and wearing AWS stuff since i was in my teens. I've always had a closet love for anything alien related so the fit came natural. I have AWS tee's from High school that still fit. Sure they're getting raggy, but they're keeping it together. Impressive for any tee to last more than 10 years.
I've not ridden their boards much. A few here and there that were friends.... so i cant speak much for their quality, but i will say they've always been an innovator when it comes to graphics and style.
Dislikes: I honestly cant say i have much of anything that i dislike about their products. For what AWS product i have owned or own i've been more than happy with the quality and style.

Likes: Personality - AWS is very unique in their board designs. They aren't very dark or bright in styling. Its more articulate and very mysterious. If you like to see uncommon design and uneven figures. AWS is perfect for you. Also their team is rad. Their team is very well rounded in style and personality. There are the baggy pant skaters, also there are some tight pants here and there.
Shape - The thing that I love about AWS is that they make the shape of the nose and the tail perfectly. The tail is a little higher then standard decks but it much more comfortable. And the nose is pretty deep. Some people may not like this but I find that flicking is much easier. Also that they have wide skateboards and also thinner skateboards. Not to mention their top notch concave. They will have wide boards with deep or shallow concaves. And thin boards with shallow or deep concaves. So you will be happy if you look well enough
Pop - The pop is better then other boards that I have used. Although personally its not as great as Popwar's, but I find that you will like it a lot. it's strong and consistant. And even with a few layers gone from the tail, it will still keep its height up. You might lose a few centimeters or so. But if your consistant at your ollies then you should be fine
Durability - Well I'm skating my Josh Kalis deck for about a month now. Its on its 4th layer nose and tail. But its still holding up strong and I think it can last another week or two. So it seems pretty trustworthy that it can last you a while.
Overall, I give AWS a 8/10. it's a great company and all, but the tail wears out pretty quickly which is a pretty bad downfall of the board. But don't let this discourage you, its durable and skates very well. Plus the designs of the board are great. If you have a odd mind, then AWS should be for you.

Likes: I own two Alien Workshop skateboard decks, which feature some of the sickest graphics going. The decks are made from Canadiam Maple and are extremely durable, which is one their greatest and worst features. Although I love the 1/4" risers at the nose & tail since these produce easy ollies and drop-ins, they can be somewhat uncomfortable to someone who has not ridden this type of design spec. Overall, a quality board that is moderately priced.
Dislikes: The decks can be somewhat unforgiving, especially if you ride a lot of street terrain. Presses can be difficult as well. As mentioned above, the risers on the tail and nose can be difficult with footing for anyone changing to A.W. decks.

Likes: I remember back in day, my first board was A.W. and that's where our history started. Since then I've owned numerous products from them and never once was left dissappointed by the performance of the product. I'm glad to see this brand added to the list as I will now get a discount on my next purchase when ordering their gear (:
