Experience:
Ok, this is my first Burton jacket, so I don't know if it's a normal thing, but it looks like their sizes run big. To help you know what I mean, here are a few measurements. I am 6'3, athletic build Normally I wear a 17 neck/36 sleeve shirt. I am 43 around my chest, and 48 around my shoulders. Most of the other jackets in my closet are XL, as are my t-shirts. Based on the limited info on the Burton sizing chart, I chose the XL. I don't mind jackets baggy, but I was swimming in this one. The sleeves covered my finger tips and it was way wide. I exchanged it for the l,arge, which fits perfectly, and I love the jacket. There you go, I hope that helps you choose correctly.
Pros: Awesome Water Resistance, Heavy Duty Ri-Ri Zippers, Tons-o Tech
Jacket Fit: Just right

Experience:
I own this little beauty in the Optic Nerve print & a better wet weather jacket can not be found! As with all Burton AK gear, it is the ultimate in 'tech' and fully loaded features. From the wicked water resistance of the Ri-Ri zippers to the killer Gor-tex fabric this jacket will keep you warm & dry. The jacket fits a bit oversized but gives you ample room to layer up underneath.
Experience:
I literally cannot think of any cons to this jacket. It's a little spendy, but the value you get out of it more than justifies it. I wear this in the PNW where it gets put through its paces on a daily basis (mountain + city), and it has yet to disappoint me.
On the mountain: It's a shell, so be sure to pack a fleece layer if the temps are low. It's windproof, but that only helps so much. Sleeves are nice and long and fit over my mittens. Pit zips are easy to open/close. Aqua zippers keep the seepage out, and it's comfortable to wear zipped up all the way; it doesn't give you a constricting turtleneck effect due to the way it's stitched. The zip-in feature to Stagger pants is awesome. You get onesie-style protection without looking like an Oompa-Loompa, and once again, it's not constricting at all, although if you're wearing a longish tee it can get bunched up in the back.
For all the work it puts in on the mountain though, it does a lot more in the city. Portland in the winter means nonstop rain, but this jacket means I can walk several blocks to the carts and back for lunch every day, and at least have my torso dry when I get back.
One caveat on sizing: I've noticed the black colorway seems about a 1/2 to a full size larger than the others. A Large fits me perfectly in all of them, but when I try on the blacks, they're way too big.
