Experience: Bought these as I'm a big fan of lighter boots. They were responsive and have received plenty of use this year, can shred down the mountain and is brilliant for the park. My only issue with the speed lacing is that the fit is tighter in other regions of the boot (which could be due to my wide flat feet), but other than that I love the boot.

Experience: I picked up a pair of these back in June and had them for a session at HCSC and for some volcano riding in Chile, and now a few days at Boreal. I rode 99% of last year in my Hails and I thought I liked really soft boots, but the multi-dimensional Burton Ambush changed my mind. Some flex to help you tweek and get your press on, but enough support to stomp landings and not fold in half when charging the steeps. The one issue I have is the size 10 is right between a Medium and Large size binding, and the shrinkage tech on these is more than any of the others I have tried. the size 10 hardly fits into a size Large Rome binding.
