The Burton Baron ES has got to be the number one asked for wide snowboard that is on the market, and there is no reason for it not to be. The Baron ES is a definition of all-mountain performance having a wax infused base for speed, pressure-distribution edges for enhanced edge hold, plenty of carbon fiber, and "Vaporskin" technology to reduce the weight. This board has it all: responsive flex, strong edge hold, reduced weight and much more, making it a top choice for many riders with bigger foot sizes that want to dominate the entire mountain on one board.

Use: Carving,Groomers,Powder
Pros: Durable, lightweight, Easy to carve, Stable at high speeds, Strong edgehold, Stiff, Soft, Well known brand
Cons: Too soft

Experience: I got this board when I had to rent one time on the mountain. It was a bit softer than I'm used to, but overall a decent beginner board I'd say. Not choppy at high speeds and it held its own.
