Name: 2013 Burton Deja Vu Flying V Snowboard Women's
Skill: Intermediate
Pros: Smooth Ride, Easy Turning, Good Control

Experience: This is probably my 6th season. I've been using a Burton Cruzer, which is pretty much a beginner board. After the switch, I am very amazed by the result. I am 5'7.5 and 125 lb, so I got the 146 according to the size chart. I first thought it might be too small for my height, but it turned out to be perfect. It was so much easier to control, I was able to cruise through packed powder smoothly. Before, I had a lot of trouble switch riding because the edge always get caught and I end up falling. This also results in smooth entry for a jump, I had many successful jumps using this board because of how responsive and light it is. It's very encouraging to know that I can ride in high speed if I want to. This board is on the softer end of the Burton series, so it is very forgiving. I had several occasions where I thought I am about to fall but I ended up recovering and continued riding. The graphic is very subtle and the color is not too girly, which is a plus for me. I bought the Lexa EST bindings to get maximum flexibility, it's also compatible with Re:Flex and Disc. Overall, I am loving it. Can't wait to ride again!
