Pros: Very durable, comfortable, great support, warm, quick lacing, very stiff, easy in and out, easy to use all over the mountain

Experience: These boots were by far the stiffest boots I have ever used. The flex is noticable once you put it on, and compared to ions (8 on burton's flex scale), they are much stiffer. These have great support for me, since I have very bad ankles. Through several ankle surguries and ankle problems from when I was a little kid, these give the support I need to feel comfortable on the mountain. They are also very comfortable, and durable. Also, with the speed lacing system, they are very easy in and out and are very easy to tighten. While I have heard about durability issues with Burton's lacing, I have yet to experience any problems. In addition, these boots worked well for me in all types of terrain. I've heard many say that these are way too stiff for anything but backcountry riding and bombing runs, when they really are not. If the boot fits your feet right, you can take it anywhere. Overall, these boots have the greatest support out of any boot I have used, and are a solid choice for a guy looking for extra support throughout the boot that likes to ride anywhere.

Experience: Great fitting boot, I cant wait for them to soften up a little, I was a bit hesitant because of the speed lacing system but I am begging to love it, I am in my boot and Ready to go before my buddies have gotten their first boot on.

Experience: This boot is so stiff, walking from the Demo tent to the lift was seriously nearly impossible. The response however of this boot was too much for me. Every twitch made the board get on edge like nothing else. On my park board screwing around on the groomers turned my Evo into a mountain bomber that was on edge like nothing. It fit my foot much better than the Ion's I wore before them, but I wasn't a fan of the stiffness. If the Driver X had the stiffness of the Ion, I'd have the perfect all mountain bomber boot.

Experience: i rode for about 8 hours and my shins are blistered up. the boot does not bend at all. the blisters burst and the blood dried to the sock and taking the socks off were a pain literally but otherwise good bood. i hope it all works out after they are broken in competely. my foot and ankle were fine after riding. not cold, not hurting. just the shins from where i was leaning into the boot

not a soft fit. i must have clicked the wrong box. the entire boot is stiff. imagine putting on a solid piece of plastic. tone it down a tiny bit and you have the driver x boot

yea they are stiff but its like a neck tie don't strangle yourself! the tightening of these boots takes some adjusting I put them on walk around for half an hour then re tighten them to ride
