Sierra Says: After being foiled by technological limitations and an ugly demise, baseless bindings are back! Based on Burton's new Triad binding (with a nice upgrade to the new Superstrap II ankle strap), the EST binding combines elements of Capita's Freedom Groove, Forum's I-Lock, and the baseless binding craey of the mid-90's to provide a whole new level of stance customization and board feel. If you buy one of the boards equipped with Burton's new ICS (Infinite Channel System), you will be doing yourself a grave disservice not buying these bindings and getting the most out of your investment. Experience: Very comfortable bindings, stayed strapped in for 5 hours straight this past weekend with no issues. Upper strap had plenty padding and boot cap holds it's place well on my Salomon boots. I've had to tighten the high back screws after a few times out, other than that, no issues. You can't beat the ICS adjustments, it's very easy and fast to get almost any stance you want.

Experience: These are my favorite bindings and the most comfortable bindings I've ever ridden. I prefer riding these bindings on my 2009 burton hero then using my 2008 burton P1's. They're super comfortable and give you a lot of board feel. Also, they're super lightweight since they have the air-frame high back. I even sometimes forgot that I have the bindings strapped in because the straps are so comfortable. These are great bindings and recommend them for everyone

Experience: Just remember to tighten them real tight. These are based of Burton Triad Bindings. The tiedye color on the cantbeds will fade into each other when the bindings get wet.
