Sierra Says: Burton has gone out of their way to make you as comfortable as possible in your new Field Pants. The bellowed cargo pockets are meticulously placed at an angle to reduce your arm extension to a minimum, while the crossflow venting make it a snap to air out…just make sure your in a secluded area before you do that.

Picked 'em up on sale so haven't ridden them yet. I know how tough it is to find the right pant fit online so hope this helps: I normally wear Mediums (31-32 waist with 30-31 inseam) and had to return the other pair of Medium Burton's I picked up because the waist was really wide and the legs were extremely long...felt like I was sitting in a trash bag! Got these in a Small and they fit great. I'd say the fit is like a 31-32 and should be fine even if you wear protective shorts. The legs will bag out towards the feet so it's def not a slim look. Length might be a little short for guys with longer legs. The material is more like thick cotton than the nylon-type on most other pants.

I love these pants. There just flashy enough to be not annoying, and there super comfortable. I love these because of how light and easy they're to put on and take off. I have never need an extra pant layer with these pants. If you like to bag, get these

I have a couple week of snowboarding in the pants. The performance is off the hook!! They keep me super dry and comfortable. The only concern is the minimal wear and tear that I have submitted them too and the snap that holds up the pant cuff has already broken off and the embroidery on the lower leg is already frayed and has a couple small cuts that happened too easily. The design and fit is great, just not too sure about the durability yet. Could be a bit tougher I thought though, I hope at least!

I got these last year from Sierra and I love them. They fit with tons of room so I have no issues strapping in and sitting down. They also look cool in bright white. The only thing I don't like is that they feel very heavy.

I'm 6'2 and about 225 and these things fall off of me unless I adjust the waist to the max. So instead I just wear a belt and the pants are perfect and I dont even bother with the waist adjustment! Plenty of room with no restrictions allowing total movement in any direction and the pants just go with you. They seem to be very sturdy and well put together. Tons of great features make these a great deal.

These have been great pants for me they are really baggy which is something i love so these were a great buy. I dont get out much but they have held up well through the 2 weeks that they have been through. I could use with a bit more insulation when i made it up to canada this year i would almost not be able to move my legs at the end of a chairlift but that might be just me not wearing enough under the pants. Overall a very good pant.
