Pros: Good response, Crazy comfortable,
Cons: More expensive,

Experience: I demoed a snowboard recently that was set up with some 2013 Burton Malavitas. The biggest thing I have to say about these bindings are they are cushy. I dare say I couldn't even tell I was strapped in... they were that comfortable. Overall, I felt the response is similar if not slightly softer than my Cartels, but the ankle strap is heavenly.

Name: 2013 Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
Pros: Solid, Lightweight, Excellent Board Feel
Cons: Ankle Padding not as soft/padded as previous years,
Flex: mid

Experience: I bought these bindings to be paired up with a 2013 Burton Superhero 148cm. This was my first EST board and binding set-up so I was pretty pumped. It was also super easy to dial everything in to where you want it. Overall, these are pretty sick compared to previous year's Malavita's but it seems like they don't have as much padding in the ankle strap compared to the 2011 models I have. The 2013's do offer the live Hinge for better board feel and maneuverability. Other than that, they performed awesome and had no issues with them what-so-ever. I would have given them 5 stars if the ankle strap was a little better.

Pros: Park Responsive, Many adjustment features,
Flex: mid

Experience: Demo'd this M Malavita Restricted with a 142 Burton Nug 2013. Very responsive. Loved the Winged High back. Great for spins and hard turns. I am big fan of the asymmetric ankle strap.
