"Great Stiff boots" 12/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Great Lacing System, Good Response, Adjustable
  • Cons:  A little bit too stiff, Too Snug,
  • Fit:  soft
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   I purchased this boot and rode it 2 full days on the mountain, ended up trading it in for some 32 boots instead. This boot would have been perfect for me, except I have pretty wide feet/calves so the boot was a little bit snug and my feet were VERY VERY sore. I wear a 10.5 shoe, and the 10.5 boot was perfect length. My toes just came up to edge of the toe box but weren't too squished, and I had zero heel lift at all. On the mountain, these were great. Very responsive, I have been using a pair of 2010 Soloman Factions, and these Burtons took a lot less effort to get the board moving around. After the first day, feet were mad sore.. I was hoping it would get better as I broke them in, but after the 2nd day it was the same. The lacing system is great on this one, they speed-tie system makes it so quick and easy to adjust. Also, no issues with the boot coming loose at all (which is why I bought these to replace my Salomens). The right speed lace adjusts the lower zone (portion that is the top of the foot), and the left speed lace adjusts the upper portion (around the calf area). This was great because I like to have it a little looser around my calfs (because they are huge) and tight around my foot. overall, I would probably give these 5 stars but the boot just seems too stiff for me. I've ridden my new 32 boots twice after these... and no issues on those with being sore afterwards. If you have normal/smaller feet and calves, this is probably the perfect boot for you.

"Great boots" 10/27/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  can pull really tight, give great support, easy to handle with gloves
  • Cons:  little harder to get off, cords may break from excess pulling,
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10.5-11
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   I got these bad boys because compared to another Burton boot that had standard laces these boots you could get sooo much tighter and they are easy to get on with gloves on. They provide great support in the ankle and sharp response. They also have the tread reduction so my stance angles are not effected by my toe over hang. overall a lot better boot for an extra 30 bucks compared to the Burton poachers I was looking at

"Love em" 2/15/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Really Comfortable / Warm, Quick Lacing, Shrinkage for us bigfooters
  • Cons:  A tad soft, Lacing doesn't feel real tight,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  11.5
  • Boot Size:  11.5 / 12

Experience:   Overall I really like these boots. Just upgraded from the 2009 (or 2010..can't remember)version of the moto. Out of the box they are a lil tight, but will start to form to you feet with use. The shrinkage tech is nice since I wear 11.5 boots. I don't need a mid or wide board with them. My only real complaint is the speed lacing. Maybe I'm just not doing it quit right but it never really feels real tight for me. I'm pulling the living crap out of these laces but I can only get them so tight. Then again, maybe I just suck. :/ Highly recommend for anyone on a budget. Especially when they're on sale.

  • Pros:  Comfortable, Quick lacing system,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I bought this boot for my boyfriend who is now in his third year snowboarding. These boots are great, they have the quick lacing system so very fast to put on, and adjust any time needed. It actually took a couple of sessions before realizing that each side of the lace adjust either the top part of the boot or the bottom. I was a bit worried about the laces because he likes to tie the boots very tightly, but so far no signs of wear. The boot is comfortable and looks great. Good value, I would recommend this boot.

"Impressed" 1/3/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Well Constructed, Very Light, Easy lace up and take off
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I recently picked up a pair and have so far been quite impressed. They are well constructed, amazingly light (50% lighter than my forum boots) Warm, and nice looking. They have ample heelside support, but are quite soft toe side. I bought these boots as a crossover snowmobiling boot, as I often ride the backcountry in Montana and British Columbia and was looking for these qualitys as stiff boots aren't quite as nice on the sled. When I am in the backcountry riding the sled as a poor mans helicopter, dropping big hits and slayin' pow, these are my go to boot... at a resort I would tend to lean towards something slightly stiffer, but thats just personal preference. These boots offer excellent bang for your buck and look awesome. I would recommend these to anyone who likes a softer more playful boot, likes the style and doesn't want to break the bank... Say what you like about Burton, but at the end of the day no one offers you more boot for your buck. WINNING

"Awesome boots" 8/15/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Fits well, snug, the laces
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10.5

Experience:   Used these boots for the entire winter. They fit perfectly and kept my feet warm. With the snug feel, felt my ankles were perfectly protected. The lace system made it very easy to get the boot on and off. Before buying these boots, I used to rent and those laces always came off after a couple of runs. Never had a problem with these.

"Great Deal" 4/9/2012

  • Name: 2012 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  affordable, speed lacing system, good fit/quality
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9.5
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   burton makes quality boots. This one is no exception. For the boarder that wants bang for the buck, you cant go wrong with the moto. The imprint liner is very comfortable and the boot gives great support. It is medium flex so its not for hard all mountain, more so for someone who likes to do everything including the park. You can ride these all day without discomfort.

"por algo es la mas vendida" 2/14/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Moto Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  comodidad, bajo peso, marca
  • Cons:  basicas,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid

  • Fit:  mid

  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   You can't go wrong with Burton Moto Boots. There's a reason why this is the best selling snowboard boot. It is comfortable, affordable, and the Speed Zone lacing makes lacing easy and fast. I got the white and black boots and I really like it because it looks super sick.
