Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Poacher Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  none,
  • Cons:  Seems thinner than prior years, Not enough pocket storage, Poor overall construction
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Decent Fit but I would like it more loose & less restrictive under the arms.

Experience:   This is the third poacher jacket I have owned & I dont have anything good to say about it. Lacks convenient pockets for phone or ipod like previous years. Lining was not as quality as I would expect from a $169 Burton Jacket. Cheap velcro. Cheap zipper pulls. I have to believe you could do better buying another brand in the same price range. Hate to bash Burton because I typically buy & like their products, but this jacket falls short in all areas for me.

"Great Jacket" 10/30/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Poacher Snowboard Jacket Men's
  • Pros:  Great color scheme, Good with water, Very warm is you layer
  • Cons:  kinda long IMO, it is baggy, just layer,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  This jacket is baggy

Experience:   I had the hardest time trying to decide which one of these jackets that I wanted when I first saw them. The red and black is awesome as is the orange/blue. I chose the orange/blue and I love it. I took this jacket out on a 20ish day with the wind pumping. I layered up with some Burton undershirts and was perfect. It was a little wet that day but the jacket did keep me dry. While you will need to layer up with this jacket it is a good one especially for the price.

  • Pros:  bajo precio, marca burton,
  • Cons:  faltan detalles tecnicos,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  justo en el talle

  • Pros:  Very Dry, Lots of Pockets , Adjustable Hood and Sleeves
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Its a little baggy so it leaves room for layering

Experience:   This jacket is a great jacket even though it can get a lil chilly if you're wearing this jacket with only a t-shirt only in about 25 degrees and below , so the solution is just layer. That is why this jacket was made a little baggy so you could layer accordingly. Now to the second point this jacket has tons of pockets pass, goggles/mp3, handwarming, and chest pockets. All the pockets on this jacket are great for on the mountain especially the micro fleece lined hand warmer pocket they work great and one of them has a key ring clip in it also the pass pocket is located in a really convenient spot all you do is lift up the skirt on the bottom and there it is. Now on the subject of performance this jacket is great it's not so warm alone, I'm sure for the reason of it's price but just layer up, it's also very wind proof one day it was blowing about 25 mph and It did not penetrate the shell at all. This Jacket is also very waterproof I went on a day it was raining and this jacket was great it kept me almost completely dry. In my opinion I have put this jacket through a pretty thorough and harsh series of tests and it held up great, so yes I do recommend this jacket it's cheap and works like a champ.
