Sierra Says: The SE7EN has been a staple in Burton’s coalition line for quite awhile now, and every year it continues to evolve and improve. For 2010, this board is outfitted with Elliptical Kicks and the Park Scoop. On top of that, Burton softened the twin flex and plumped out the waist for added stability and style. This board is ideal for the intermediate or advanced park guy that wants a limited production, time-tested freestyle classic.

Burton Says: Fully redone for 2010, the 10th edition of the infamous SE7EN just got cranked into eleven. Still twin through and through, the park dark lord now gets a softer flex and slightly wider waist width to let you pop, press, float, and butter with newfound finesse. Like a safety net when sliding steel, the spooned-out Scoop tips (Trevor’s brainchild) and upturned Rail Ready edges let you style out otherwise sketchy situations.

Pros: Great flex, Love the spooned nose and tail,

Experience: Great board! Love how it rides in the park. Great for learning to jib/jump with the spooned ends for easy landings.

Pros: Easy board to learn on, Soft Flex, Great Graphics

Experience: I am a beginner rider and chose this board basically because of the graphics and price. From other reviews I learned that this is an intermediate board mainly for the park. I have to say, I learned S-turns or linking turns quite quickly on this board. Very responsive and forgiving for a beginner and I can already tell this board will serve me well as I progress. I paired this up with the Flow NXT AT bindings and have had no issue nor do I feel that my learning has at all been hindered.

Pros: Great pop, good ballance, scooped nose/tail
Cons: side walls weren't as tough as expected,

Experience: I got last years model and rode it for the 09/10 season. Loved it after day one, and I still love it. The base layer is real tough but the sidewalls have gotten pretty dinged up from rails boxes etc. Pretty stiff flex but you can still get great pop if you know how to shift your weight. Stiff flex also lets you rip down the mountain pretty quick while maintaining great stability. The scooped nose and tail really do help a lot when it comes to sketchy landings, also great for butters/presses. I love my board. You will too. Plus i like the 2010 graphics way better.
