Name: 2012 Burton Sherlock Snowboard Men's

Experience: I picked up a 160cm 2011 Burton Sherlock a few weeks back only because it was brand new and really cheap. I have not ridden a Burton board in 4 years or so but I liked the tech the Sherlock offers and I have heard good things about this board. This board is rocker/camber tech and is a really fun and playful board. I have only ridden it 2 days but really like the playfulness of the board. I also really like how light the board is. I usually ride Never Summer, Lib Tech and Gnu boards and this Sherlock is the lightest board I own. Really interested in using it in some pow! Now for my complaints about the Sherlock. First, this board has a much softer flex than I am used to. This is more a preference thing but I feel the Sherlock is less stable at high speed compared to my other boards and tends to wash out easier. I like this board but it will not replace my Never Summer and will probably be used as a rock board and early/late season board. Probably not coming in the backcountry anytime soon.
