The DC Men's Balance Snowboard Boot gives you the best of both worlds skate shoe feel and all-mountain snowboarding performance. DC designed this boot with a molded EVA midsole to reduce weight and bulk, and to enhance board feel. The Balance Boot features DC's Command liner, which supports your foot and ankle on downhill charges with an asymmetrical wraparound brace but won't restrict necessary flexing when you session a rail. Directional fiber lining lets the foot slide easily into the boot and then holds it in place like a zip-tie holds a ratchet. This results in less heel lift and better power transfer. DC gave this medium-flex boot dual lace loops to maintain tight lacing, even into the boot's old age.

Pros: comfy, warm, great support, durable

Experience: These boots are amazing. Heels never lift, and they hold my ankle in nice and snug. Took a few times to figure out how to lace them to get the best feel, but thats all personal preference. Buying the BOA boots might make things easier, but these are by no means a lesser boot. Cant see me even looking at new boots untill these ones are dead and buried!

Experience: I got this boot earlier this year for a great price, and couldnt be happier - i sized down a full size to 9.5 because of packing out etc, and it worked to perfection - while they felt tight to begin with, they have loosened up enough to be super comfortable but not so much that they turn into ugg boots... The liner is awesome and allows the right amount of adjustability with the wrap around velcro strap up the top, as well as the inner lace system around the heel and ankle. The j bars also help with heel hold, however these aren't removable so may pose a problem for people with wider heels and ankles. Overall an awesome boot with the right flex that is exactly what i need for going all over the mountain, and a snug, warm and waterproof fit for my foot. The only thing i might change next time is getting the dual boa judge (same boot with boa instead of laces), but the laces have been great and i really can't complain.

Experience: have been riding with this boot for 2 seasons now. after the first season my boot was finished so i went back to the store and got new boots. afther the second season the boots are still good! so i guess the first pair i had was just a missmake of the factory ;)

Experience: These boots are awesome. My girlfriend got them for me in white/shark. They're very comfortable and your feet feel very warm throughout your session. They are easy to put on and the liner can be easily adjusted with the velcro strap. They can also be laced very quickly. Great boots and they look awesome
