Name: 2013 Forum Youngblood Doubledog Snowboard Men's
Skill: Intermediate
Pros: Good Pop, Hybrid Tech, solid construction
Cons: High Speed Chatter,

Experience: I recently bought this board. The board is a pretty solid board at moderate speeds. I rode it on a semi-powdery days and icy days, being on the Ice (East) Coast. Overall the board handled itself well. I rode it pretty hard and felt it had good pop and flex. The board is also very easy to ride switch, which is great. The soft flex and rockered tail and nose allowed me to ride on just my tail or noise and not feel unstable at relatively slow speeds. The board did very well on the ice as it gripped it well (but not as well as my Sierra Reverse). The turns felt pretty good, but it wasn't as reactive as I thought it would be. This probably has to do with the design around the tail and nose, but it was overall a positive experience. The board does excel in a specific range of activities related to rails, jibs, and jumps. My real qualm with the board is during high speeds. If I try to bomb the hill, there is a lot of chatter in my feet. The board feels highly unstable and there isn't much speed. I figured with the hybrid camber at my feet, I could squeeze a little more speed out then my purely rocker board. I was sorely incorrect. The chatter is distracting if you try to bomb it to a jump. This isn't a huge problem, but my recommendation is keep this board on the freestyle/park area and at controlled speeds. Nobody likes to be distracted with chatter trying to hit a jump, doesn't bode well for the confidence needed to hit a solid jump/trick. Just keep that speed under control. Not a racing board or all mountain at all and is strictly a freestyle board just like they advertised.
