maybe the most creative and unique jacket of the year. I remember seeing Danny Kass wear this jacket at the 2007 X Games and thinking that was cool. It can also double as a Halloween costume. Grenade made the whole getup, you can match this with skeleton pants, gloves, and even socks for the full body skeleton!!

The general rule of thumb for Grenade is: looks really cool, not the best quality. I have never tried the outerwear, but if it is anything like the gloves, expect the outerwear to not be very waterproof or durable. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time falling in the snow, you will be fine in Grenade. If you do fall a lot, look elsewhere!! High style for high skill.

Imagine never having to worry about getting worked. you would probably be coolest the dude ever. Chicks would be throwing their hear weaves at you and Justin Timberlake would be inviting you over to his house for dinner. You know what? Pretty much you'd be the Dingo. Regardless of your social stature, this mid-weight series will give you the confidence you need to juck your carcass without a care in the world, but we ain't paying for your doctor bills.

Experience: So I fell for the Grenade trap. Loved the design and purchased before I knew much about clothing tech. This jacket works well enough for Spring days but doesn't cut it on the bitter cold days. Waterproofing fails midway through the day even after a few coats of Nikwax. People do take notice of the design so that is a big plus if you are concerned about turning heads on the mountain.

Experience: I had always loved this jacket, but was wary of Grenade's "quality". However, I was able to get this at 50% off, so it was a price I couldn't afford to miss. I got the Slime Green color with the black skeleton and it's amazing looking. It is so ridiculously bright that I can be seen from anywhere on the mountain. I get stopped at every lift line and people tell me how sick my jacket is. Also, it's a 10,000 breathability/waterproof jacket, not 5,000 as advertised, which was a nice added benefit. So far, it has held up much better than I'd anticipated. Just don't expect to keep you warm on icy cold days....
