The Hovercraft is not a snowboard. It's a powder riding phenomenon that goes beyond mere board design. Hover- crafting is a way of life, a life of slaying deep pow without having to ride an aircraft carrier-sized shred stick. The Hovercraft packs all the float you'll ever need in a trim explosive package. The blunt nose and directional rocker of the Hovercraft keep you partying in the pow, while the stiff tail and Mellow Magne-Traction lock in stability when the fresh tracks are gone. Blower, crud or crust are no match for the Hovercraft as it floats through it all without sacrificing maneuverability in mixed conditions. There is a good reason why you'll catch Jeremy Jones riding the Hovercraft or the Hovercraft Split on more days than not. Hovercrafting is pure bliss - you can float, air it out and run it out all on the same nimble rocket that makes effortless turns.

Pros: amazing float in a compact size,
Cons: none, this board works,

Experience: I'm a big guy and wasn't sure if this board would float me. No problem at all, this is an amazing pow board that also carves turns nicely on the groomers. It could be used as an all mountain board if you didn't ride switch. If you like to ride pow and want a totally surfy feeling and want to eliminate rear leg burn get this board!

Pros: Amazing float in powder,

Experience: To start, if you love powder this is the board for you. The stance is pretty far back which is great for keeping you on the top of the snow, no matter how deep it gets, with limited difficulty (worst feeling ever is getting stuck in some powder and having to boot it out). The Jones Hovercraft is in its element just about anywhere however. The Hovercraft is great in the trees, off piste, in mountains of powder or even on groomers. Can't recommend this board enough, really is a masterpiece on the mountain.
