Sierra Says: The Comp has similar characteristics as the Comp Pro does with a 97mm last and the exact same shell. The only noticeable difference between the two is that the Comp has a much more forgiving flex of 110 and only has one EZ open buckle rather than two. This boot is perfect for those on-trail speed racers looking for a high performance fit, but don't want something incredibly stiff.

Lange Says: The Comp is the softest version of the Super Comp. The short flex range of the Comp is much shorter and quicker to engage which puts more energy in to the ski and allows the skier to pressure the front of the ski with more aggression. The design of the lower shell includes a near vertical medial wall which allows the foot to sit closer to the inside edge. Complete with a Custom Fit liner with a Neoprene toe box and removable rear spoiler the Comp is designed for high performance skiing.

Name: Lange Comp Ski Boots Kid's
Pros: Comfortable , Great Performance,

Experience: This is the first boot that I've owned that performs well and doesn't hurt my feet. A prior review stated that this boot is hard to get in/out of... well, you'd better have narrow feet if your going to ski this boot. I've found that I have to flex my leg extremely far forward, yanking the tongue forward in order to get my foot out, as they are a very snug fit in the ankle. It is a great performing boot for aggressive on-piste skiing. I haven't hit the moguls yet, but am psyched now that I have these boots. I don't plan on buying another boot for a very long time.

Experience: I used the Lange Comp last season. My shoe size is 10 and I used a 27.5 Comp. The fit was secure but comfortable This boot is the softest in this line but I found it to be plenty stiff. It is hard to get into but not as bad coming off. It skis well and could be used all mountain but the design has it engaging quickly without a deep flex so It is a better boot for short turns on groomed firm snow. I do not ski in the park often but I do not feel this boot would be happy there.
