Experience: I already have one review of this on this site, but after receiving several pms on this I figured I would put up another one. Overall the Lib Tech T.Rice HP is amazing. The board is a wide although not advertised as one. I picked up the 161.5 pointy version, and the HP is extremely lightweight and poppy. Having the HP allows me to have the stability and power of a 161.5 for backcountry terrain and steeper lines while still being able to spin and freestyle like it's a 157. The C2 is also amazing and honestly gives the best of both worlds(C2 is reverse camber between the bindings and camber underfoot). It gives the float and playfulness of reverse camber with the stability and power of a traditional camber. This snowboard works Great on jumps. It pops off the lip and the magnetraction has helped me several times on landings, as it grips on. It also works well on groomers and ice, as it is fast and the MTX can grip on very easily. In the backcountry, this snowboard enters it's true element. By far the best deck I have used in the backcountry. It floats amazingly in pow, regular and switch, keeps up speed, and can turn on a dime(really great in trees). Also, it is very stable on steeper and bigger lines, and the lightweight of HP makes it feel easy to control. Also, while the middle of the board is fairly stiff, the tips are very soft and very buttery, and it is really fun to butter this in the pow. The HP is also great to huck off powdery jumps, since it is super poppy and stable in all terrain. Overall, the T.Rice HP is an amazing deck, and is by far the best all mountain/backcountry snowboard I have used. Along with one of the best graphics I have ever seen, and my nomination for best snowboard of 2011, I would say that this is easily worth the 700 dollars. Now that it is on sale, it's basically a steal. That's it, and that's all.

Experience: got to try out a friend's and it's a pretty nasty board. just the right amount of stability on any surface and speed. got a nice pop that makes riding super fun. i didn't take it out to the park but i bet it's a whole lotta fun with this bad boy

Experience: I own the 153 of this snowboard for potentially going to the park with this thing. Surprisingly my Gnu pickle 2011 is stiffer than this board, so not exactly too stiff. The board is extremely light weight, maybe due to being 153, but the 153 size really tossed me around bombing down the hill. This would probably be better if I got a bigger size. The camber of this board really forces you to ride this board with good technique. I've been so use to a reverse camber that this became very difficult to ride. It claims the board is factory detuned, but I advise to detune the tip and tail even more. This board really does fly and because the light weight, very easy to maneuver and engage in turns. Because of the poppiness, the board really shakes you up when hitting bumps. Riding in powder, this board is insane, even with me riding a 153, i had no trouble floating. I was hitting the steep alpine runs at Beaver Creek in Colorado with some major ice, and i had no trouble going down with the magnatraction. For those coming from reverse cambers, this won't be an enjoying board, but I'm going to stick with it to better my riding.

Experience: I've ridden 157 T.Rice before and found it too stiff so I thought downsizing to 153 would be ideal for me. I was wrong, the board was still very stiff for me and I really couldn't fully benefit from riding the board. I only recommend the board for advanced riders only. The board is too demanding for an intermediate rider in my opinion.

Experience: I borrowed my friend's Lib Tech T.Rice for a weekend in Tremblant and it performed flawlessly. It was a very comfortable ride from the camber underneath the feet, graphics are sick, very hard to catch an edge, and magna-traction! I had a little trouble riding this board at first. The MTX made it very responsive which kinda threw me off a bit. I noticed immediately that the board was heavier than the ones I've rocked. Also, it's a more on the stiff side. It still didn't solve the ice issue cuz the board still kinda drifted at first then locked in. This board is more for an intermediate to advance rider or this board will throw you around! Overall, awesome board!
