An insulated leather glove, designed for snowsport professionals, with OutDry¨ Waterproof Technology for exceptional protection. We bond the waterproof, breathable OutDry¨ membrane to the glove's high-tenacity nylon shell, to fully seal out water, wind, and cold.

Name: 2013 Mountain Hardwear Jalapeno Gloves Men's
Pros: Lightweight, High Quality, OutDry
Cons: leather,

Experience: I've been using this glove for Southern California mountains and I find them perfect for my location. They are not the warmest gloves out there, If you want warm gloves, look to the MH Medusa. It's got a bit more insulation. This glove has a long cuff so be aware of that, I personally like the long cuff, but I'm more about practicality than looks. The Outdry bonded membrane works... it just works, It will keep you dryer or just as dry as any other high quality glove out there. I personally like OutDry over Gore Tex because my experiences with Gore Tex gloves include a frozen rock solid glove on top of a Mountain. It was not pleasant. I have not had this problem with the new Out Dry... The only con I can think of if the leather palm. I personally don't like Leather because it can absorb water (past experience), but this has not happened yet with the Jalopeno.
