Likes: All of there jackets and pants are very durable and very reliable. I own a MH jacket and i love it. Its really warm and keeps me dry. And when your riding thats all you can ask for. They are also really good quality jackets and they fit great as well. They have a good reputation and there product is always really reliable!

Likes: Durable stuff. I use one of their lighter jackets as a mid layer as well as a fall jacket when out beating the brush.
Dislikes: It can be a bit pricy, so shop for sales.

Likes: MH makes quality high end outwerwear, seems to be more popular with skiers but alas works just as well for boarders. Great selection and extremely durable materials. Also makes very well built tents and sleeping bags.
Dislikes: Expensive which usually leads to having to wait for end of the season sales, which in turn leads to limited selection.

Likes: I have enjoyed the ingenuity and effort that MH has put into making lighter and lighter products. It seems that every few years MH puts out a new technology that makes their products lighter and faster.

I enjoy the fruits of their efforts in collaborating with top athletes in producing these new products.
I own a variety of MH products; jackets, parkas, bib, tents, gloves, beanies, & shirts.
I have had a couple of these fail on me and had a hassle free time dealing with their warranty program which replaced each with the newest and greatest.
Dislikes: price...
It ain't cheap so I find myself buying last seasons gear to save a buck.

Likes: Mountain Hardwear is officially one of my favorite brands. It makes the best of the best in terms of outerwear. I recently bought a mountain hardwear jacket from REI! best jacket ever! So so soooo waterproof. Perfect for Washington weather. The jacket looks amazing and I get compliments all the time. If I had the money I would get every bit of my setup for outerwear to be Mountain Hardwear. Very reliable and well constructed gear. they use it for treks up mount Everest if I'm not mistaken. Its a super amazing brand worthy of respect. So you can definitely count on this brand to be 99.999% if not 100% reliable.
Dislikes: only downside is it's expensive:/

I really love my MH shell jacket. it's super lightweight and waterproof. packable. I use it from everything from fishing to disc golf and snowboarding in the spring.

Likes: I've always been impressed with the fabric of their products. They make more than just clothing and it always suits the climate you are looking for. Of the all the products that I have I have been impressed from the start. Offering great pieces of clothing as well as sleeping bags. Their down jackets have to be my favorite (light in weight and plenty of fill to block the wind).

Likes: I've always had the perception that Mountain Hardwear is a solid american mountaineering company that makes products with quality fabric (sleeping bags and tents in addition to clothing). They've certainly done their share to sponsor athletes with the idea of getting their name out there, which is part advertising and (I think) also part contributing to the kind of sport/athlete. ALthough they seem to offer all of the standard pieces of clothing, their gear that I've owned or run into or sampled (or stolen from my friends for a bit) has always presented as well-made gear with the correct fabric for the job.
Dislikes: According to wikipedia, MH was purchased by Columbia in 2003.
