Description: Perfect

Experience: First, I picked this jacket up in the Another Love Story/Wave Burst colorway in Large. It fits perfect, just like a Large jacket should. This jacket is absolutely incredible. It can hit the wallet at 5 bills, but if you can afford it or can find it on a sale, it is a great buy. It allows no water to get in ever, and it keeps a good seal around the waist, and around the wrist with the hand skirts. Also, this jacket features netted vents, so you can keep comfortable without sacrificing the waterproofing. Compared to my AK jackets, this keeps out the snow just as good, if not better. In warm or cold weather, this jacket not only keeps you warm, but keeps you COMFORTABLE as well. Warmth is one thing, and while many jackets can keep you warm, much less can keep you comfortable in all conditions. Below zero and windy, 40 degrees and sunny, 15 degrees and snowing, it doesn't matter. Besides the waterproof, windproof, and comfortable aspects of this jacket, there are plenty other benefits to this jacket. There are PLENTY pockets to carry your stuff. I carried my phone, wallet, an extra pair of gloves, facemask, hat, and more in these pockets alone. Also, the jacket is fairly durable, as the fabrics are tough and strong. Another bonus to this jacket is the Recco Reflector which is featured in all the gore-tex Quiksilver outerwear if I am not mistaken. Besides all the great performance aspects of the jacket, it features an incredible colab with various artwork from Mike Parillo. All in all if you can afford it, this jacket is a great buy and is worth the 500 dollars in my opinion.

Description: fits like normal large

Experience: I was looking at get the 2012 jacket, but found the 2011 on sale and didn't see anything different than the graphics. This is a sweet jacket, fits great. Haven't had it on in the rain or wet snow yet, but it looks like the weatherproofing should hold up nicely. This jacket does cost more than most, but you get what you pay for. Its also nice to support someone like Rice who is pushing our sport.
