When you look at these impact shorts you think that they look like board shorts that you can wear to the beach. They look really cool. It is important to wear protective gear while snowboarding, because one accident can ruin a few seasons of riding. These shorts will help you save your ass when you fall on that 15 stair hand rail. I recommend everybody buy a pair of these because it is important that we all wear protective equipment while snowboarding, it is a dangerous sport and anything can happen at any time.

Pros: Adds some padding,
Cons: Funky looking shorts,

Experience: Helps a ton. However, you will still feel a big fall.

Name: RED Impact Shorts
Pros: Has padding for the tailbone area, hips and thighs. loose fitting. doesn't make you look bulky on the slopes at all. no one can tell i'm wearing them.
Cons: could be padded more and at more places. so far its been enough though.

Experience: I usually wear a medium in everything but this medium is a bit oversized for me. I think because of that, the pads shift sometimes but so far they've kept my tailbone from being hurt. if given a second chance, i might look at other impact shorts to see how those fare
