"Solid Lid" 3/12/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable fit, Good protection,
  • Cons:  Wiggles around a bit/slides down on the forehead,

Experience:   I've used my helmet a handful of times and like the way it fits. I'm not great on a board yet, and I'm usually on my butt several times a day. It can slide down on the forehead a bit, but not often. I can't fit a hat under it, but a skull cap works really nicely. Goggles fit really well with the lid as well.

"Great Helmet, minor problems" 2/18/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Very comfortable , Warm, Safe
  • Cons:  Goggle clip not really secure , A bit big looking but who cares , Pushes goggles a little too far down over nose

Experience:   It's a great helmet. Comfortable, durable, warm but it makes your head seem a little big but it's really no different from other helmets. The earpieces do come out easily but not while you're riding, and you can just tighten the Y strap so they don't come out. The goggle clip doesn't clip at close and if your goggles slide off the helmet them they have a good possibly of completely falling off which is what happened when I fell. Otherwise, very happy with this helmet and wouldn't mind buying it again if I lose this one but I would like to try out other helmets.

"Disappointing " 2/5/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Not durable,

Experience:   I bought this while abroad and kind of regret making such a hasty purchase... The piece that hold the goggles in the back fell off after only a few days and one of the parts covering your ears has never really stayed in well. It just seems to always be falling apart! Its warm, does its job protecting my head but I wish it held up better!

"Year round comfort" 1/26/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Year round use, Adjustable padding, style
  • Cons:  2 piece construction,

Experience:   First helmet i ever owned, love the simple skate style. I use this helmet year round on the mtn and at the local skate spot. Only issue i had with it was the glue holding the shell and foam liner together came separated after only one season, nothing a little epoxy couldn't fit. Needless to say i have since upgraded to in-molded construction

"Basic, But Sometimes Basic is Best" 1/8/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2013 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Basic, no frills, Will save your noggin,
  • Cons:  Not super durable,

Experience:   This is about as basic a helmet as you can get, and I love it for that. I've been riding with this guy for about three years now. I've basically removed all but the essential padding and wear it with a beanie, but that set up is just right for me. The basic, plain you could say, look is also right up my alley. However, after about a few tree branches to the head and misplaced landings, the helmet top and inner have become a bit disjointed. Would have expected some more durability. But for the price, what do you expect.

"buena proteccion poco lujo" 4/29/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  calidad, comodidad, ear pads removibles
  • Cons:  google clip, precio,

"Pretty solid helmet" 4/12/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  affordable, convertible, light weight
  • Cons:  audio ear pads don't stay in, kinda cheap,

Experience:   I picked this helmet up somewhere else for under $40. For the price it was well worth it. It was a little too big for my head, but with the extra foam pads it came I got it to fit perfect. It saved my dome on the snow and last summer when I started skateboarding again. My biggest complaint is that when I got the audio ear pads they never did fit just right. Even the ear pads that came with it would fall out all the time. For what I paid though I guess I can't complain too much. The outer shell warped a bit from sitting in my car last summer, so be careful not to just leave it in the back seat if you use it in the warm weather.

  • Pros:  can use for snowboarding and skateboarding,

Experience:   Not bad helmet, looks cool, can be used for skateboarding and snowboarding. Inserts are removable so if ya sweat alot or want to wear a bennie underneath, its all good. Feels a bit big on the outside though.

Forgot to mention the goggle clip comes out easy. A bit of Super Glue and that is resolved.

"Awesome Helmet!" 2/22/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Red Trace Snowboard Helmet Men's
  • Pros:  Fits perfect, Warm, Removable ear pieces
  • Cons:  No music,

Experience:   This is my first helmet ever and I must say I love it! I dont have to wear a beanie underneath as it keeps me really warm as is. Im usually sweating after a few runs actually. I wish it had the earpieces with headphones but I guess those can be purchased separately and fit right in. The ear pieces come out for when its warm out, so this is a year round helmet. Im really happy with this purchase! Oh and they fit true to size. Just measure your head with a soft tape measure and you can be assured it will fit just right!
