Name: 2013 Ride Insano Focus BOA Snowboard Boots Men's
Pros: Comfortable, Supportive & Lightweight, Fast in, fast out
Cons: Both BOAs tighten the ankle area,

Experience: Been a traditional lace guy for 10+ years and was very skeptical of the BOA lacing system but my buddy has last year's Insano and swears by them. Also got a good deal at a local shop so I figured what the hell. First impression: stiffer than I expected. Everything I read said mid-stiff, which after about 10-15 days they did loosen up a bit. Still quite firm. Very comfortable and supportive. The stock insoles are surprisingly comfortable, I usually swap these out for some Shred Soles but haven't yet (about 40 days on these boots so far). Great heel hold. The dual BOA allows you to tighten the toe box separately from the upper, however, both BOAs seem to tighten the ankle area. Very lightweight, too. I have been converted.
