Sierra Says: We all know that snowboarding is super addicting and that after a few times, you?re already looking to buy. You know that you don?t want a starter board, but you?re afraid that you?ll get something too advanced or spending too much on a board that you don?t know you?ll grow into. The Solution is the Rome Crail. This mid-level board is packed with all the features that will keep you progressing on any part of the mountain, while staying forgiving on your edges and your wallet.

Rome Says: For the rider looking to sample a taste of everything that snowboarding serves up, the Crail lets you rip turns, ollie rollers, run a lap through the park and drop lines on a powder day. A moderate flex pattern keeps it tuned for the rider who wants to play around some of the time, and turn up the volume the rest of the time. Designed to keep up with the progression for the first few years on shred.

Pop Core Matrix- It is important that the inside of your snowboard is wood so it reduces vibration and lasts many seasons.

StraightBiax Laminate- A biaxle or 90 degree fiberglass weave that is perfect for tricks because it butters, turns easily and will not catch an edge.

XTRD Base- Easy maintenance and easy to repair your base. Take it easy!

Mountain Edge Bevel- -1/-1 which provides maximum edge grip.

Use: Groomed,High Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Ungroomed
Pros: Affordable, Durable, Do anything board..
Cons: Not overly flexible, but good enough.,

Experience: This is a great board for those looking to begin snowboarding, its price point is attractive for new comers and it will take you from Beginner to Intermediate levels with ease. This was my first board and its now in it's 2nd season and still going strong. If your new to the sport and want an all mountain board which can just about do anything then I recommend the Crail!!
