Name: Rossignol Angus Amptek Snowboard Men's
Skill: Intermediate
Pros: Very responsive, holds edge well in all cond, Fairly forgiving for progressing riders,
Cons: Pretty stiff for lighter riders,

Experience: This is my first board and I purchased one last month. I am a progressing intermediate rider that rides mainly groomed or hard pack on smaller hills on the east coast. I am a bigger rider at 215 pounds and love how this board handles my weight. I have the 158 mid-wide version of the board and it works great with my size 11 boots, def no toe drag. Pros- Price, Board is very forgiving for riders that are progressing. Has just the right amount of flex, edge control, and responsiveness to help correct smaller mistakes and prevent you from catching edges and eating snow. It holds its edge very well on hard pack, and ice. Had one day on the hill that was a pure ice sheet and the board held its edge like a machine. At high speeds board does well and does not chatter or appear to get sketchy. Also is very stable at low speeds. Board is also very easy to iniate turns with and really helped to progress higher speed carving and transitions without feeling like I was going to lose it. Cons- Board is a little stiffer then some will like. For a lighter rider they might want a softer board. Overall has been a great board. For bigger riders wanting an all mountain board I would def recommend it. For a lighter mainly park rider I would say it is to stiff. It does take some muscling of the board to get it flexing and buttery. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a little more flex, hence only 4 stars.
