"The Rossignol Viper V2 is an entry level binding which has all the same features that you would be looking for in a high performance binding. The baseplate is Rossignol’s HC-X along with the I-Back Light hi-back. This binding also has convertible toe straps which are very lightweight, and extremely comfortable. This binding also makes use of the Extruded Heel-Cup technology which is where the heel cup is extended in the back, and is hollow, which makes this binding 15% lighter than others. "

Name: Rossignol Viper Snowboard Bindings Men's
Pros: Easy setup, adjustable, cushioned well
Cons: color options, toe strap ,
Flex: soft

Experience: Bought these with my first board, I got the silver ones. These are great for the cash, but there aren't a whole lot of color options which is a dissapointment. However, they flex softly and are forgiving and easy to ride. The adjustability is good, you only need a screwdriver to mount them and to adjust the toe strap. That being said, the toe strap isn't very comfortable and creates alot of pressure on the boot. A toe cap type strap would have been better. The cushioning is good for the price and the binding feels nice throughout the ride. 3 out of 5 for the toe strap.
