The Salomon Prospect is a super versatile board. It can be used by a beginner as all-mountain do everything board or by an expert as a dedicated freestyle board. With a medium flex and unique construction, the Prospect offers a forgiving ride while maintaining some of the best pop of any board on the market. Salomon's patented SWr (Sidewall Rubber) smooths out the ride, whether you're hitting hard pack or banging on street rails. It's larger than normal sidecut radius also allows you a bit more "freeridability" than most freestyle boards, allowing you more to do more than just move from one park feature to the next. Whether you're a gaper looking to invest in his first board or an expert looking to huck off 40 footers, the Prospect offers a little something for everyone.

Strongly influenced by Wolle's riding, the Prospect is as comfortable in the park as it is on an Alaska natural jump or in city landscape. Thanks to our exclusive freestyle features such as the Rubber sidewalls for shock absorption on hard pack snow, metal and concrete, the ENK tips for powder landings and the 2000 base for speed to hit every kicker in the line, this board shreds it all. And for those memorable powder days, the directional twin shape has you smiling through flowing powder slashes.

Super fun board. Great choice that will suit almost any level rider. For beginners and intermediates, it's a nice all around board that's reasonably forgiving, but still advanced enough to progress with you. For advanced riders, it's nice, poppy, and press-able, but still stiff enough to hold up at speed. A great choice for all-mountain freestyle. Probably the longest sidecut of any freestyle board out there, for you those of you park monkeys who still like to carve up the mountain.

Pros: Cool Graphics, Good in the park,
Cons: Super Stiff,

Experience: Good board to have ready to ride in the park but not really the ideal board for ripping everything on the mountain. Really stiff difficult for butters. Overall a good board if you ride park everyday but if your looking all mountain pick something else.

Cons: Top sheet scratches

Experience: This is the second board I've owned (own three now) and I gotta say it keeps surprising me every time I ride it. The best features of this deck are definitely the pop (amazing) and sidewall dampening which makes landings soft as hell. This is def my go-to all mountain board and puts some higher priced boards I've ridden to shame. I'd recommend this deck to any intermediate rider looking to carve up groomers and hit up ramps or an expert freestyler for park riding. Despite its freestyle oriented flex, the board has never chattered on me when I really hit the gas pedal. Only thing I'd warn about is if you are looking for a super responsive board, this one isn't for you. The tortional flex is a bit soft for riding trees or things like that.

Experience: I bought this board last year to take to colorado with me and had nothing but a great time on it. It was a great board and super fun on the entire mountain.
