Pros: They look good, light weight and confortable,
Cons: If I was a punk rocker I could wear them with , my work clothing.,

Experience: I just bought a pair 1 month ago. I remembered how much I enjoyed wearing a pair as a kid, and I can say I enjoy them just as much now as I did 20 years ago. Vans has always made great shoes and board boots!

Pros: comfy , steezy, good for almost everything
Cons: get worn out fast,

Experience: Granted, these shoes are not going to make you fly but they are pretty dang close. I have probably had about 20 pairs of vans and the more worn out they get, the more comfy they are. I have used them as dress shoes, skate shoes, water shoes, fly swatters, and I've even shoe gooed a pair so much that they were snow shoes. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone not already rockin a pair.

Pros: Soft at the foot, Comfortable, Flexi
Cons: If washing is needed - Red runs badly,

Experience: I bought these shoes a few years back now, and have been reppin them ever since. I have skated in them, ran in them.. just about done everything in them. They are to this day still the most comfortable pair of shoes in my cupboard (apart from ugg boots) The great thing about these are that you can just slip them on and go, no hassle. Sole is excellent and wears well, i still the perfect honeycomb sole i did 2 years ago. The only bad thing with mine are that they are Red, and every now and again when your shoes get messy you want to wash them, well the Red in these shoes doesnt wash too well. but its to be ecxpected really.. Great shoes, great price. LAST FOREVER!

Experience: The classic vans skate shoe has been an immortal fixture through the generations. Everyone who has ever had anything to do with skating has owned these shoes for good reason. They are super cheap, look great, are comfortable and durable. I have owned many pairs of these already and will continue to buy them.

Pros: Comfortable, Versatile,
Cons: Light, Must wear no socks or no-show socks; expensive,

Experience: I have several pairs of these because they are such a versatile, comfortable shoe. I do a long of longboarding and the slim profile of the shoe helps with my cross-stepping and general dancing (although the shoe shouldn't matter, it helps) and they are very light. I think that is one of the cons though because these shoes tear up pretty quick. They are on the cheaper side, so buying a fresh pair isn't as bad but I go through my vans a lot... probably about once a year... Also if you are wearing shorts you look dumb if you're not wearing no-show socks, which are expensive. The other alternative is no socks, which leave my feet feeling weird...

Pros: durable, comfortable, simple

Experience: i've had authentics for about 7 years and i've been through over 15 pairs of these. i wear these shoes almost everyday and my feet never hurt at the end of the day. I've even taken these out to go hiking a few times. i prefer them looking a little used rather than out the box. it'll take a good weeks worth of wearing to break them in but then they'll last forever. i think I'll still be wearing these shoes when I'm like 75!
