The beach-dwelling Vans Rata Vulc Skate Shoe plays perfect companion to the busy surfer, from local spots, to missions to distant shores. Its durable, flexible construction is perfect for stuffing into a backpack, and the 100% royal hemp uppers are machine washable, ensuring years of faithful service. The soft EVA molded sockliner features a super comfortable reverse waffle texture, and the flexible vulcanized waffle outsole insures adequate grip. To boot, only eco-conscious water-based inks and glues are used.

Pros: Low Profile, Comfy Slipper-Like,
Cons: Super Thin Sole,

Experience: I have a few pairs of Rata's and I love them. They feel like wearing slippers all day long!! Extremely comfortable and have a great fit. The sole is a little thin, it has never bothered me but something to consider.
