Absolutely no special features at all and maxes out at 720p, but the picture is beautiful, the viewing angles are enormous for the huge room, and at under $400, I don't care how the kids treat it!

Super sharp lens at 1.4 but gets worse as you stop above 5.6, this lens wasn't meant to be stopped down! Full manual focus and manual aperture control.

I never would have bought one otherwise.  I think they cost way more then they are worth.  I opened the box and before even turning it on, my wife says "I love it".  I get it set up and I must say...I like my little nexus 7 tablet a lot better.  I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

I know that Lexus and a few other premium marques will do a road test as part of the PDI. But for all other automakers, it is typically not conducted as it is redundant.

Toyota has a very unusual advantage of lower cost to fix than other automakers because they own their own auto parts supplier, Denso Corporation, who also supplies Honda and almost every other manufacturer in the world to some extent. This means the cost of a middleman between the supplier, the automaker, and the public is eliminated. The only other automaker with a comparable business structure was General Motors and its sub-owned suppliers, Delphi and ACDelco. The difference, here, is that GM's cars and the parts in them were completely shit from start to finish, right through total bankruptcy and continuing on afterwards, so it really didn't amount to much of a favourable reputation. Delphi has since been annexed from GM control and operates independently.

"Cheap to fix" is an arbitrary descriptor. Cost of maintenance of any car depends, largely, on the parts you use. Shave off a few bucks to use shitty Chinese aftermarket parts and you'll end up spending more to fix it more frequently, no matter what brand of car you drive. Speaking from experience, Hyundai parts cost about the same as comparable Toyota parts. Hyundai/Kia has the advantage of cheaper Korean labour costs than most other developed countries, so there are times when genuine Hyundai parts from the dealer are cheaper than anything else in the market. The clutch I did for a Tiburon last month is one such example; shopped around before finally calling the dealership only to find that it was 20% cheaper coming straight from the the automaker itself, which also guarantees the highest quality that you can possibly buy.

All vehicles are subjected to dynamometer and a condensed road test on the plant's in-built road course complete with bumps, rumble strips, and other hazards. Pre-delivery inspection (PDI) at the dealership usually does not involve another road test.

Took delivery this past Saturday. Had 7 miles on it. My last car, I drove into the ground. Over 230k miles on it. Trade in value was not high.

Just bought a couple of these from woot for camping.

Just bought a new grill too just last week because my dad gave away our old one so we had to go rush and buy a new one for a bbq we were having that day.  It's by Charboil and has infrared whatever tha means and a side burner/skillet.  I just find it funny how it has patent pending all over the insides, which looks like a bish to clean.

Yeah they are the LT pins....what are the dual height climbing wires?  My buddy lives in Donner we should plan to go out together next season.

I just hope the Spliff performs in BC...little concerned about 148 length but it is a nug so effective edge is like a 156 to 158 board.  Plus it has S rocker, side effects, and 5mm taper...we shall see :)

Finally got the full Ultegra groupset purchased and installed on my bike. Glossy Grey 6700

Installed the expansion module for my mobile tool trolley; took about 1.5 hours. It's now bigger than most technician's main tool boxes... Filled to the tits with Snap-on tools. I'd hazard a guess that the combined value of the trolley and its contents is close to $9'000.

I researched resistance bands before buying this set, these seem to be well made (some other brands tend to snap). 

Which is why I work out when I'm traveling on business, it keeps me fresh.  If the hotel doesn't have a gym I usually take a run in the morning.  

The benefit of this resistance band system is I do not have to leave my room.

Ah I see. Some of my friends like that EBC stuff for their Volvo V70 turbo and Saab 9-3 turbo for the same reasons you've given and they've worked very well for them. However, the Volvo guy reverted to factory Volvo brake discs which have resisted heat distortion better (stopping a loaded 1700 kg wagon is asking a lot). Meanwhile, I've got other friends who've used EBC pads in their Supra Turbo and Lancer Evolution have commented negatively on their performance. I haven't used them myself, though-- I prefer factory brake components for my car.

Anyways.... Bought myself a Fixie with a flip flop hub, so plan on using it in single speed until i want to mess around on it on fixed. Bought some bullhorn bars to throw on it. Can't wait till the weather gets nice now.

With the quad core processor this thing is a beast. Just need to get a bluetooth controller and start uploading game emulaters and this thing will become my portable gaming system. And that wasn't even my intention for buying it. 

Yeah I'm positive that's the problem..  Mine were also fully dipped.  I had some edible arrangment ones at a funeral friday that were partial dipped like the pic.  They were perfect.   I'll be ordering there from now on.

How did these things turn out??  I ordered 2 dozen of the swizzle ones for my wife and they pretty much sucked.  Took a bite of one and water dripped out (Don't think they dried them after washing).  And a couple tasted like they were starting to ferment.  Felt like I was drinking a strawberry crush soda.

Gamestop said I would get more back if I bought a used DSi charger for $9 and traded it back in to them.  I figured I'd get at least $50 back, which I was fine with.  

So I traded in a Wii with 2 controllers plus nunchucks, recharging station, balance board and about 9 games.  Also traded a DS lite, DSi, some small accessories and maybe a dozen games.  With the 50% console trade in, $10 for 3 trade in, and the extra 10% for my power up card, I ended up getting a little over $300 in gamestop trade in credit!  

But I needed a remote, so I went to one of those "trade in your gift card" sites and got $260 worth of amazon credit and picked up the Logitech Harmony 900 remote:
