FOr the majority of riders, this is great for carving and having fun. You really only need a centered stance if you plan on riding park rails or riding switch. <br /><br />That being said however, I am so used to my evenly spaced park setup, that I ride a centered stance on my "mountain" board. I only consider bumpoing my stance back in deep powder. <br /><br />If you are just carving, leave your stance back - with directional boards, a directional stance will make your board perform the best. The sidecut, flex, and contact points on these are designed to be used with a setback stance.]]>

It seems like you'd want to have a opposite angles on the bindings so riding switch would not change the angle of your stance? ]]>

If you plan on hitting the park i would stay as centered as possible. thats my all aroubd personal preference]]>
