Truth is, this board is meant to be directional. FOr the majority of riders, this is great for carving and having fun. You really only need a centered stance if you plan on riding park rails or riding switch.

That being said however, I am so used to my evenly spaced park setup, that I ride a centered stance on my "mountain" board. I only consider bumpoing my stance back in deep powder.

If you are just carving, leave your stance back - with directional boards, a directional stance will make your board perform the best. What about rotation? Has that gotten hounded on other boards? Are there better rotations angles for the bindings when learning to ride switch? Since your board is directional, unless your riding a lot switch no sense in fighting the natural setback. It is totally a preference but heres what i think

1. they seem way to close together. usually u wanna go shoulder width or a little more
2. if you are just powder riding or doing regular downhill groomers, setting them back a bit isnt really a bad thing
3. I ride a twin shaped Pipe board, but I've set my stance back 1/2 an inch.  Mainly because I don't ride much switch.  I feel that it really helps with turning and bumping along the hill.

but my two cents....
You have an all mountain board.  Set back slightly will be good for powder and general riding.
Centered tends to be more for freestyle.  I like riding centered for park, but set back an inch for pow or high speed riding. 
Play around with your stance a bit.  Width, position on the board, you'll find what you like.

Well always keep a pocket tool or proper sized phillips head screwdriver in your bag/car in case it dumps snow the night before. A little bit of setback works wonders, especially if you're riding all day.

May want to center them if you're doing freestyle or working on switch riding.
If there's powder on the slopes then set them back (you can also put them even further back a bit if it's deep) so you don't kill your legs trying to keep the nose up.

I'm a little bit of a nub so bare with me :D

So I noticed the binding holes on the board (not a burton w/ channel board) are not centered evenly. The holes in the back are placed further toward the tail vs the holes on the tip.

When you put your bindings on, do you put them on evenly on the board, or is one binding closer to the back?

Like something like this?:
(x's are the bindings)
B{ :::X       X:::   }F One Is A Little Back.

Or like this?

B{ :::X       :X::   }F  So They are evenly placed on the board.


Sorry if this is a noob question, but I would really like to know if i'm putting my bindings on correctly or not.
