    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.trusnow.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=50288" rel="nofollow">spenser</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 52826<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> Nov/20/2012 at 5:34pm<br /><br />some of the best factories in the industry are in asia. &nbsp;shakespeare and playmaker for example. &nbsp;the country of origin does not dictate the quality as a general rule. &nbsp;if you picture sweatshops or non-snowboard-specific factories, yes of course you will be wary of china production.... but there is simply nothing wrong with it. &nbsp;you can have good or bad factories anywhere. &nbsp;and in all reality, some of the factories in europe used by MANY snowboard brands have had more quality issues than anyone else. &nbsp;on top of that, literally everything else is made in asia and the quality is still top notch.]]>

European companies are Allian and Rossignol etc, from what I know some (if not all) Rossignol boards are handmade in spain. <br />Personally I wouldnt usually trust boards that are made in china.. most major brands have most of their boards made in factories situated in china. Since china is pretty much the dodge-est country in Asia (dont call me racist.. im an asian too lol) I wouldnt put my trust into their stuff even though everyones pretty much living in a pile of made-in-china stuff.. <br />The least you could do is to get a quality snowboard made in Canada, US or Europe and help some of those small brands that believe in what they do and provide some quality shred to us riders.]]>
