Plus since there's so much socks between feet and footbed, it might lack response. It might also causes the rider to want to tighten the boots more...not ideal. ]]>

If your feet still slips more than you like, try insoles too. Superfeet insoles are pretty slim, you can also try other athletic insoles from your local sports shop.</div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.trusnow.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=182713" rel="nofollow">markyjas</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 53319<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> Jan/08/2013 at 11:57am<br /><br />Hi guys thanks for the speedy responses.<br><br>Spenser - I have pretty skinny feet and at first I just thought it was my laces/pullstraps were loosening up during runs, but now I'm finding that they might just have packed in to the point where the liners are too big for my feet.&nbsp; In fact the liner pullstraps are usually pulled about as tight as they go and are still almost that tight when I go to retighten them.<br><br>I get what feels like my feet can lift on the sides (twisting) as well as my heel lifting.&nbsp; I'm sure its only a couple centimeters of motion, but it can be really annoying.<br><br>Angry - I know what you are saying, but I'm afraid that if I get new boots I could run into the same problem again.&nbsp; Too tight at first, fine for a little and then too loose.&nbsp; So maybe the customization is what I need.<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.trusnow.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=50288" rel="nofollow">spenser</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 53319<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> Jan/08/2013 at 11:32am<br /><br />heat molding doesn't add material where you need it, which is what you need if they aren't holding your feet well enough. &nbsp;all it does is allow the liner to mold to your foot shape quicker than wearing them in yourself, so all that's happening is tight spots getting pushed out, but not loose spots getting filled in.<div><br></div><div>it depends how exactly your feet are not secure. &nbsp;just heel lift? &nbsp;all-around slop? &nbsp;there are some potential fixes for heel lift, like adding J-bars (more padding basically) or heel wedges, which take up the lift-space and leave your heel sitting at the height at which the boot holds it down better.</div><div><br></div><div>that said, it's entirely possible and likely that they simply just don't fit your feet properly and the best solution is new boots. &nbsp;can you tell us anything about your feet so we can try to suggest certain brands that may cater to you specifically? &nbsp;foot width, arch height, skinny/fat ankle, skinny/fat calf, etc...</div>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.trusnow.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=182713" rel="nofollow">markyjas</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 53319<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> Jan/08/2013 at 11:24am<br /><br />Hi,<br><br>I bought some 32 Lashed boots last year and at first (~10 uses) they were too tight and causing discomfort in my foot and ankle from my toes mashing against the front.&nbsp; They eventually packed in and worked well for a while.&nbsp; Now I find that I slip around a lot and no amount of retightening/tying seems to fix the problem for more than about 1 run.<br><br>Is there any solution that might help me here?&nbsp; From looking around on my own it seems that I might be able to remold them with heat molding.&nbsp; Unfortunately, my local mountain is tiny and there probably aren't any shops that could do it, so I might have to DIY if that could even fix my problem.&nbsp; What about insoles or inserts like SHL products <a href="http://www.stopheellift.com/SHL.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.stopheellift.com/SHL.html</a>?<br><br>Has anyone tried any of these or had similar problems that they were able to solve without getting new boots and going through the process again?<br><br>Thanks in advance!<br>]]>
