Not to feed the thread, but I have a friend who's riding the '11 Darkstar, and I would totally get one for $180.  We swapped boards for a few runs one time.  Although his bindings were waaayyy too big, and his stance is waaayyy wider than mine, I can see how it would be a really fun board.  The Zer0 camber is really neat stuff.
He does have a little harder time on the really hard stuff with it though.  That's his only complaint.

Why would you order one wondering if it's a good price? IMO 180 for most boards (new) is a fair to great price. I don't know much about the darkstar but there seem to be many good reviews of it littered around the intertubes. Not a do all, amazing go everywhere do anything you want board, but seems to be a great beginner board at a fair price point.

As far as "upgrading" in the future, that one is up to you. You may reach a point where you want something different, a different feel, and so on. But for now just ride the piss out of it and don't worry about when you will need to get a new board next....

BTW, you really don't have to start a new thread every time you have a question about something...
