No gimmicks, no creativity, just a 51 year old fat man begging for sympathy, and hopeing that whinning will turn the tide. 6 years ago I took my sons up snowboarding we learned together. (self taught) I purchased all 3 of us outfits from fogdog.com. I'm still using my white and green silence board, murrow strap in binding. I wore out the airwalk boots and purchased new black lamar boots (59.99) from big five. 2 years ago my youngest upgraded his equipment (for him Christmas was nice) Last year I purchase myself a libtech (black on top orange eye) board, flow binding and D/C boots. I was finally going to look good on the chair lift. The board, binding and boots are now in calif. (I'm in WA) with my oldest son. Some how he needed them more than I did. So I spent all last year on my old stuff. I'm begging you save me from another season on 6 year old gear. Especially from my big five boots. Its hard for us 50+ year olds to throw out gear or clothing that still fits. We just weren't raised that way. So save me from my up bringing by providing me with replacment gear. My sons (now 19 and 23 years old) leave me as soon as we get to the resort. I'm sure it is because of my gear not my skill level! I'm making some progress last year I replaced my neon green and blue jacket and blue snow pants. Now my boys would sit me at lunch. By selecting me you can in large way reunite a family. |
