Video Soon To Come
Donald Says: The Salomon Lotus is a perfect board to start out on. It is a very forgiving snowboard designed specifically for a woman. It has a deep sidecut for easy stable turns, a soft flex pattern to keep slower speeds smooth, and a price tag that will keep a few extra bucks in your pocket. The Salomon Lotus is a great value, and it will help you build your confidence on the mountain while letting you have as much fun as possible.

So, this is my first board ever, and I have to say that I love it. It feels light and easy to maneuver. The flex keeps it at a low speed as I turn in powder and groomers. It helped progress from beginner runs to the more intermediate runs. Another bonus graphics. I love the whole air and water theme with the fish and the birds. Also, the bottom graphic is great.
I recommend this board to any beginner who's looking to progress. And it's price makes it another super added bonus. |

along with ste_funny this is also my first board, i don't have much to compare the lotus to but the rentals. But this board is really great to learn on for beginners. The design on the board is aweeesome. I was sad to put a stomp pad on it because it covered a part of the design.
a question to ste_funny, how are the Salomon poison bindings? the Salomon grace bindings... I'm not liking too much. |

Well, I have the 06 Poison bindings and they work great for me. I
haven't really used them that much, but I love it. They feel great and
everything. They're light and responsive. And they feel really
comfortable. I don't know about the 07 Poison, but I bet they'll be
around the same thing, maybe better. If you can, go for the 2007 ones. Haha.
And another thing, I don't have a stomp pad on mine Lotus yet. hahah. I don't want it to get in the way of the design. hahaha. Edited by ste_funny - Feb/05/2007 at 2:50pm |

What Salomon would be good for a female intermediate rider that loves the park, but also wants to carve down the reg. slopes? I ride the icy slopes of PA and once and awhile powder. Thanks!
