Video Soon To Come
Donald Says: The Salomon Benedek is on of the liveliest freestyle boards out there. Its construction is made from the highest-grade aspen-wood strips, and Salomon did some extra milling in the tip and tail to reduce the overall weight of the board by 15%. Not to mention, the Benedek offers the "ERA 2" core, which provides separation of torsional flex, so the board will ride softer at lower speeds than it will at higher speeds. With the responsiveness from the flex pattern, the fondness of reduced weight, and the progressiveness of the ERA2 Core, the Salomon Benedek is well suited to fit the needs of an experienced freestyle rider.

David david david ....
Benedek pretty much kills it wherever he rides and of course it being on this board. My friend down in tahoe actually has this new model and says it is unreal. Benedek threw down a double cork 12 on this puppy so you know its legit! As brandon said... great for inverts and spins and that is comepletly true. Flex- not to flexy...still works for rails though It says it recommends a S/M binding and doesn't have a very large waist so if you over a size 11 boot I would stay away fromthis board :( other then that everything about it is sharp! |

Demoed the 08 version of this board (158.5) about three weeks ago. It's tons of fun. Thing was like a little freaking Miata, just zipping around the mountain everywhere. The base was really fast and the ERA technology seemed to work, making it easy to handle at slower speeds but giving it solid stability at higher speeds. Unfortunately I didn't go to pop off anything or really push it to its limit because I had a busted rib during the demo date. However I really liked it. I probably would have picked up this year's version if Salomon hadn't limited it to just 156 this year.
