Mike Says: I can't stress enough that Salomon's boots are the best for men with narrow feet. They will really support your feet while you shred. The F 22 is designed for advanced riders who rip the entire mountain. This means that people who ride hard and fast both in the air and on the snow will love these boots. Salomon boots are plush. Give them a try.

I'll have to be honest, about 8 years ago I bought a pair of low-end Salomons, they weren't to good. I have avoided them until I started working at Sierra. Learning more about their new tech, I decided to give them a try. After yesterday I wonder: What the hell was I waiting for!!?!?!?
I wasn't able to purchase my first choice of the F-24' so I original thought I may be downgrading to the F22's. The more I thought about it, the more I realized the F22's fit my style. It is a misconception that all carvers like the stiffest boot and boards in existance. True, we usually have slightly stiffer equipment on average for stability at high speeds, but I don't like the ultra stiff boots for everyday riding. They are powerful into turns, but they are not fun for freestyle, and this is what freestyle is all about.
The F22's were plenty stiff to match my carving requirements, yet they were playful enough to still enjoy freestyle. Fit wise: Great. I went to Salomon initially because of thier unparalled heel-hold. I have narrow heels so heel-lift is a major problem. Yesterday I never noticed it once. I never even thought about it until I riding up the chair lift and was thinking, "What should I be looking for in these boots?" They were comfortable right ou of the box on my feet. That's right, the advice I give to customers all the time I threw out the window. With studying and work I had no time to break them in. I did the stupid thing and took them straight to hill. No problems whatsoever. Even the best boots with a performance fit in the past gave me some sore spots. This morning, nothing.
I am never go back to anything else. I want the whole F-series now.
