And no, Stafford didn't injure his shoulder.  I was really hoping he would throw left-handed to protect his throwing shoulder...

It's awesome that you guys got to throw out pitches, stuff like that never happens to me. I've never even caught a foul ball in all the games I've been to. /jealous

Heck yah! That's what makes the games more fun to watch! Unlike the other sports leagues of late, when ya might see only one flash in the pan before it's subjected to a second round smolder.

not many people know about tis sport but Ultimate frisbee is amazing. If you havent seen any ultimate frisbee being played at a competitive level you are missing out for sure.

Havent played ultimate frisbee since jr high but ya, its kick ass to play

I've never done it myself, but I guess you can turn anything into an activity if you can have a beer in the other hand.  I think that is the point.

Wow, what's with the disc golf hate? Have you guys ever even tried it? On a legit course?

It's one of the cheapest, most accessible sports out there and it's a lot of fun as well. Plus you don't need anybody else around to play it. I've played just about every sport there is and I loved playing disc golf.

Hoping cotto beat mayweathers a$$ tomorrow.

I love it, it's the ultimate 1970's sports day: Horse racing and boxing.  I hate to break it to you, but Mayweather is going to win, easily.  Don't come to me for Derby picks though, unless you want to lose money.

Mayweather FTW, Cotto got nothing on him mate, I put $400 on him for KO

Hope that's not a PPV match. Otherwise you'll be best served watching it online the next day. Wouldn't take long to DL either since so many "primetime fights" haven't gone more than a round or two.

interesting, i was censored earlier...anywho, i think cotto deserved the win, based on what i thought that he was landing more hits, but mayweather just looked like he was toying with him in the end...

But Mosley needs to step out. Out boxed by a guy half his age it was hard to watch. I kinda feel sorry for the guy.

Played my first softball game of the season tonight (men's beer league). Coed starts tomorrow. We gave em a sound beating (17-3, ended on mercy rule), but  we've been playing together for years, and they just threw a team together. Not a bad squad :).
Our first baseman hyperextended his left quadriceps stretching for a play at first (he did the splits.. but didnt mean to). He then pulled it again trying to get up and gather the ball after it rolled past him. Had to be carried to his car by a couple of the other guys. Hope he's ok, but he's definitely looking like hes gonna be out a few weeks.

it doesnt get any better than nba playoffs and stanley cup playoffs going full strength at the same time

^^^ Ummmm, I think regular-season NFL and college games blow basketball and hockey championships out of the water guys.

I agree with the time right after nba/nhl playoffs being the worst time in sports, but at least it's usually the best weather. I think the best time in sports is significantly skewed by whatever your favorite sport is. I love NFL/NCAAF playoffs with basketball going on myself.

i think jeremy lin should come to the lakers...

jeremy lin is a little hard to really put all the money down on him...a shame they're (knicks) already out of the game...

I kinda wish I was a soccer/futbol fan, that Man City finish to win the EPL was epic.  Even though I have no real allegiance, I definitely felt good for their fans, winning their first title in 45 years in insane fashion
