If the back of the snowboard is black is there anyway to custom design it with sharpies, or paint? |

if you are handy with a dremel tool, you could always *lightly* carve a design in the base and fill with a white ptex on a black base or vice versa for a custom, one-off, home brew design. Definitely not for your brand new $500 deck. I picked up an old beatup Jamie Lynn 151 for $30 and I experimented with it a little bit. Just gotta be careful not to cause any self-induced core shots

That sounds like disaster in the making!! To the OP, trick out the top of your board all you want, but I'd say leave the base alone.... |

Well, it was a $30 board, what can I say? I'm artistically inclined and I happened to let my mind wander off that day

It sounded intriguing, being artistically minded myself. I suppose on a "throwaway" board it could be fun. Got pics? How's the board ride since then? |

I don't got any pics handy, but I might be able to get some pics up this weekend. I'm at work right now and heading up to do some night riding as soon as I get off.
The ride isn't the best, but the base was pretty beat up when I bought it, so I wasn't expecting too much after grinding parts of it away with a dremel
