i signed in for everday since mid march.. and one a sierra crew snowboard about two weeks ago. Only took about 2 weeks. During that time period, I still bought a crap load from SS though, because the prices are freaking amazing. I like the fact that they have a daily give away though, it really gives me something to look forward to at 3:00 pm while I'm at work.
Is it really possible to win more than once? If so, that is freakin crazy.
BTW im going to try out my sierra crew board this weekend, it is by far the shortest board i've ever ridden so hopefully it'll be a lot of fun!

More trouble than it's worth but how about this idea... The longer one has been a member and active on the site (posts, reviews) without winning gets a marginally higher chance of winning? Kind of like the NBA draft where the biggest losers get more ping pong balls in the lottery. LOL I'm not suggesting this as a longtime non-winner since I won the Sierra Crew a month into joining this fabtastic site. I just feel bad for these poor saps who sit day after day watching "shop_xyz" and new members win.

Not a bad idea, as long as the long time members go to the bottom of the list after they win. Actually, it should be based on # of daily longins, not time since registration as a member. Also, it should only be a slight advantage..or else where's the fun in knowing who's gonna win & having no chance as a newbie. shop_xyz deserve to win because they're for sure buying stuff from sierra. Maybe they get a newbie chance to win until they change they're name before they get better lottery numbers. dude, that would make the giveaway video more fun- if they had a ping pong lottery machine!

i feel for you. i'm only new here and haven't won (not expecting to) but this was the winner from monday 5/4 http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/profilepage.asp?PF=65108 when i click on "smellydog" it has 0 points and he won the burton primo snowboard? is that correct?

Well look at this way it means your time to win is coming up pretty soon :P I love the giveaway, excepting the time lol I'm lazy at 8 am in the morning and I don't particularly feel to motivated but I usually make it on hehe. I've probably given myself bad luck by posting in the thread with all the people who are on losing streaks though!

yea i have been here for a while too, but i only get on for like a week or so at a time, and not winning at all in this giveaway kinda discourages me, and makes me think "aww im not gonna win anyway, why try, right." so its not a big deal at all.

What's even weirder is how previous winners just happen to almost always appears as new winner, and then the operator has to re-spin again since he knew the winner has already won before.

sounds like we need to find ways to increase chances of winning...
-our first thought is to not allow shop accounts to win (we need to make it easier to change username)
-maybe brody can program in a sliding scale of sorts in new randomizer... everyone in top 3 levels are automatically in, and we only take 50% of lift opts?
-p..s these are strictly just IDEAS being thrown out...

In 3 years, I've never won anything, but I have to admit I don't always try either. I've actually logged out lots of times during giveaways because I didn't want to win whatever it was. I have gotten a free t-shirt and tons of great deals, however. I'm sure I'll win something eventually.

No sob stories here. I won a gift card not too long after signing up. SS is giving away free boards without us having to purchase anything. That's effin' awesome! They don't have to do it. If I don't win, fine, but I'll be there during the giveaways because I want my CHANCE to win. A chance is all I want. Winning a free board is icing on the cake!
