It depends how often you'll go and how much the pass will cost compared to lift ticket prices.
I had one last year and I went three times a week during the winter.
8 hour tickets were 64 bucks and the pass was 300 pre sale.
The pass paid for itself in about 5 trips :-).
The pass is well worth it if the prices are the same this year.
You also get discounts in the mt high shop,and last year I got a free burrito from chipotle for having a season pass.

keep $350 (I believe there is a $50 fee for first timer) in your bank account and just get the pass. You live too close to NOT get a season pass. You will get every penny back, trust me.

theres no $50 fee for new pass holders. its $299 preseason and if you are renewing from last season, you save $10.

high usually open the first 2 weeks of nov. sometimes sooner. sometimes later. we opened on dec 10 last year and as early as oct 23 in 04. it depends when it gets cold enough to make snow..
 i just went up there and got my season pass for the 8th year straight. i live 20 minutes from the mt and can see the slopes from my yard.

my homie curtis hill mt high team rider is on this years season pass.  he hasnt even seen the pass yet... 

grab your pass its worth it in 6 trips.... no blackouts, 3 mountains.. and tubing...
anyone can take a picture, but it takes intelligence to create a photograph

yes sir we were only i was in mammoth halloween. my only halloween snowboarding... that was the year of the last el nino. dec we got almost 9 feet in 5-7days. tsunami hit srilanka that month as well.

lets pray for another 04-05 season. you know it a good season when your tired of riding your powder board and cant wait to get back into the park... epic year....

youll get your chance this year as this is another year for el nino.. the last el nino created that epic year. i beleive we got about 200" that year. we usually are around 100" or less..  we got 100"+ in one week. that more than entire past and present seasons..  06/07 season was bad terrible. i beleive about 60" total that season.....

I experienced those epic season. Unfortunately because High is the closest resort for many in SoCal, the majority of Socal comes to the Mt all at once and more than half don't have half a brain when it comes to driving in snow.
