Ahh Mt High. I was there about 2x a week last season (mostly night boarding). A few of us from WA will be there regularly this season along with Snow Summit and Mammoth (for the local mountains).

i went up to big bear with some of my hall mates and.. i am so sore not gonna lie.

it was worth a 2 hour drive and 20$ for a lift ticket

i went this morning, it was pretty good until the sun started warming up the mountain.  started to see the dirt and there were a gang of people so it was pretty crowded considering theres only one run.
 
my arms are cut up from eatting it on the ice.  but still have a good time.

Today consisted of dodging a ton of people on the run and rocks plus making sure I didn't fall on the ice.

It got too crowded so we decided to leave around 10...they need to blow more snow and open up another run

It's 8-4 today and day-to-day there on out. We left at noon...it was too crowded for one run. If there were less features maybe people wouldn't have been clumped up so much on the one open run but that's Mt. High's appeal in the first place.

Yeah the top part was still bearable but the bottom half was just insane with the amount of people sitting down plus you have the features set up in the middle so that was taking up dodging space too. 

I don't mind if you sit for a bit...but sitting 4 or more across a run with only one run open is not cool.

Temps are supposed to drop starting Thursday. Depending on area in So*Cal it may be slight chance of showers too.

well this may be because its a holiday but it was crowded as hell. blue ridge line was out the gate.  there were patches of thin ice and dirt, only a few boxes on the trail, i went early so i got a few good runs in before the huge crowd came.  there werent too many rocks, the workers did a good job of going around to pick em up.

 
unless u have season pass n just wanna go for a few hours, id wait until they blow snow which they will start doing thursday night.  so i think this weekend will be good.  mt high is gonna be open for the rest of the season considering theyll be able to blow enough snow from thursday onwards to last until the storms come in.

hahaha it is actually despite that its thin and slushy.. i talked to a guy who went to bear yesterday, he said they dont even have a top to bottom run, just half a run. 
 
mt high condition should be good the next couple of days through the weekend considering theyll be making snow tonight.

might be going to high tomorrow (depending on conditions) i wonder if they will give me a free lift tix for my bday even though i already have a pass?
