The comps don't slow down/crowd the lift lines, but the blue angels are there (8 buses full of people who park at the end of West lot and have a designated picnic area for them in the parking lot when those areas can easily park 20 cars).  OMG...so annoying.  All of them go through the ski school line and they get priority.  80% of the time they aren't paying attention so it ends up being 2-3 ppl per chair.  The lines were ridiculously a long wait because of them.   

how does iowa play into a thread about Mt High? regardless the super bowl might actually help lessen the crowds on almost all the mountains.

Went to High Last night...
Careful... It was the weirdest snow I'd ever been on @ High.
Since it was so warm these past few days the snow was slushy & the water from the snowmelt has compacted the lower layer of snow...
So what you have is... Slush + rock hard ice...
Weird to have both... so be on your toes... metaphorically...

The season still isn't done yet, maybe there will be a late storm.  

After Feb it's pretty much down hill from that highly doubt there will be any last minute storms.I'm a regular for night sesh even tho it's cold as hell and icy but less crowded so no complaints here, everytime i go during the day it's usually packed and features are pitted and i hate parking at east or on highway 2.

Very hot and slushy, ponds by the lifts.

I'm pissed they don't have night boarding all throughout the week now.. I hate waking up at 7/8 in the morning to leave to snowboard!

And if it does snow,don't be a snowplayer slowing traffic on the side of the road either!

I camped in it! It was a pretty awesome storm! waking up to over a foot of fresh pow... My dog loved it!

They may try, but the weather is once again warm.... so It'll mostly disappear by Friday.

should be 60's in the mtns this weekend. that doesnt bode well for snow conditions. but I've been seeing a lot of trips pop up on meetup.com for mt high, big bear, and mammoth. so the snow players may be out no that they can actually drive up the mountain without chain control.

because this is the mt high thread and people on here ride mt high so it matters that we got record snowfall...meaning the season might be prolonged
