What a fun day, crust and slush conditions it was hot considering how many people were there today.The express lift line was redonkulous thanx high for a fun season.

^nope i meant the whole entire gate the line was packed ,the helmet line was the best thing until they got rid of it, one of the specific reasons why i like to ride nights.

I feel like singles line was still faster last year even with the helmet line

I dunno how you guys do nights...it's too icy and choppy for me

I work during the day Monday-Friday. So nights and weekends are the only times I can go. And we all know how crowded it can get on the weekends. Every now and then I can get a nice session at night, but most of the time its cold and icy. Jumps and features have big holes in the landing from people landing in it all day. I prefer day use for sure.

If you ride at SP or maybe even at SaT (not likely since it is limited to x10) cant you just buy a MH pass for cheaper even though youre a SP local. Or is that not possible or doesn't make sense?

$600 (SP) vs $350-400 (MH) for a new pass. If i was a SP local I would buy the MH and ride that all season long and pocket the savings and sell the buddy pass for even more $

You could do that but remember that you need to take a photo @ Mt. High to get the season pass... that means a long ass drive or a flight... both of which cost a few hundred dollars

Good point, I think it just depends what you're into.
Ive been starving to ride park so I should be there tomorrow or this weekend.
Maybe even ski dazzle in LA

with the past two days of rain in the mountains, ski dazzle is definitely the only cool snow event going on right now this weekend.

Today kind of sucked.  The snow is melting and it's the beginning of the season.  I hope they are able to makes some more snow in the next couple of days to build everything up again.  They took out about half the features they had up and the two little jumps they had are now rollers.  With a little help from the Pine Cone of Destiny I was still able to have a good time.  All questions regarding the Pine Cone of Destiny will be ignored.

I will until Thursday when it clears up a bit. As fun as pow is, its also fun to be able to see when you're riding.
