Review Spam

well said, i only flagged the one sentence or blank reviews

i'm concerned about one thing.  people who are owned by this system might retaliate on members who actually have quality reviews.  maybe raising the amount of flags needed to 10 will help this?

well, most of them are individuals that have been here only for points and don't really know anyone, 1 flag won't do much, plus many of them will just give up and leave

10 is a lot.  if each ip can only post once, that person will have a tough time finding 5 computers to use.

id imagine it works like banning.  they most likely limit according to ip.

And if they really have it they can write a real one that helps someone. They aren't ban from review.

that's a really good point, they always have the ability to write a new review.  although, we should still use discretion when reviewing some of these.  so far the ones we've eliminated are obvious.

yea i don't think that's going to happen, we have to remember that sierra is still a business( it might not look like it though, with all those giveaways and points), and customer or potential customers that shows up on any kind of list like that would not be pleased and they *might* take their business somewhere else

Nighthawk took this into consideration and made it so that in the data base they don't go up and down.  They just lose the points and stay in the same bracket until they regain all of the needed points to legitimately move on to the next bracket.
