Everyone who I've heard win has got the free stuff and decided to buy HEAPS of other stuff as well so they probably airn't losing too much on giving the item away, then how many people stay and browse the site at the time of the giveaway and end up purchasing something who otherwise wouldn't have I'd say a lot. Sierra is great though
 I've bought most of my gear through them :)

Does anybody know why Sierra give away snowboards? I mean giving away around +400 bucks of profit(~2 new boards) everyday doesn't sounds like a great idea. Don't get me wrong I love Sierra for doing it, but how can they afford to?

It brings views to their website which ups them on search engines. Plus it is good publicity. Companies spend a lot more than a few hundred dollars a day for advertising. |
